Evans, Lynne B.

By

Lynne B. Evans (Widrow) “Woody” of Canton, formerly of Randolph, passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with multiple sclerosis at the age of 71 on the morning of December 22, 2021.

Born in 1950, the second of five children to the late Esther and Samuel Widrow, Lynne graduated from Randolph High School. She continued her education throughout the years at Katherine Gibbs College and UMass Boston.

Lynne was the beloved wife of Michael; loving mother to her late son Sean Davis, son Adam and his wife, Alaina, and daughter Jamie Pious and her husband, Dan. She was exceptionally proud and grateful to be a grandmother to Jackson and Ruby. As a sister, Lynne leaves behind Steven Widrow and his wife, Arlene, Sheryl Carlevale and her husband, Frank, David Widrow, and Michael Widrow and his wife, Julie. She was also a cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews, too numerous to count.

Lynne was a partner in business with Michael, acting as bookkeeper and office manager for their many businesses. She was an avid reader who loved thrillers and science fiction novels, had a taste for great food, and wanted nothing more than to be surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren. She was over the moon to meet her new granddaughter Ruby; she cherished her drawings from Jackson, and loved to facetime both daily. She loved to laugh, had a great sarcastic sense of humor, and was quick to share her opinions.

She will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to have known her. Services were held on Monday, December 27, at Schlossberg Chapel, followed by interment at Sharon Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Kidney Foundation or MS Society.
