Karen L. Kane (Murray), 64, of Canton, formerly of Hyde Park, passed away suddenly October 16 at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton.

Born in Boston, she was raised in Jamaica Plain and attended Boston English High School and Boston Business School. She was a member of Local 589 and worked for the MBTA as a customer service agent for many years before retiring. Karen has lived in Canton for the last 30 years and previously lived in Hyde Park for many years. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling.

Beloved wife of William T. Mother of William T. Kane III of Canton and Allyson N. Kane of Canton. Daughter of Carolyn Silva of Hyde Park and the late John G. Silva. Grandmother of Tyler and Kyle Kane of Canton. Sister of Cheryl Kelly and her husband, Charles, of Hyde Park, Jacquelyne Silva of Hyde Park, Mischel Silva MacLean and her husband, James, of Hyde Park, Judy Adams of Norwich, CT, and Jean Thompson of Randolph. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street, Thursday (today) from 4-7 p.m. Funeral mass at St. Oscar Romero Church (formerly St. John the Evangelist) in Canton Friday at 10 a.m. Burial private.
