Donahue Real Estate announces ‘Best Street’ winner

Donahue Real Estate is pleased to announce Longmeadow Drive as the winners of its fourth annual “Best Street in Canton” contest. The neighbors gathered for a photo and received their trophy and a $250 check towards a block party.

Resident Erin Mann submitted a nomination with a slideshow of photos of the neighborhood gatherings and events that take place on Longmeadow Drive. Rachel Volinksy also submitted a nomination, which stated, “Kids, teenagers, adults, elderly, everyone is very kind to each other, and they want a great community, which makes Longmeadow Drive very different from all the other streets I have lived on.” She also included a video of her daughter Ruthie titled “My Neighborhood,” in which she interviews her two neighbors who have lived on Longmeadow Drive for 50 years.

“Our motto is ‘Neighbors Helping Neighbors’ and the Best Street Contest celebrates the neighborhoods who are working to build that sense of community,” said Jay Donahue of Donahue Real Estate. “We are proud to sponsor this contest and wish the residents of Longmeadow Drive all the best.”
