Duggan, Margaret C.

Margaret C. Duggan (Mahoney) of Canton passed away August 31.

Born and raised in Boston, she attended Boston schools. Margaret lived in Norwood for many years where she was a member of the Norwood Catholic Women’s Club and PTA. She was also a Girl Scout leader and an avid reader. She loved playing mahjong and card games and was in a bowling league for many years. Margaret moved to Canton in 2006.

Beloved wife of the late James J. Duggan. Mother of Deborah Damon and her late husband, Ted, of Canton, James Duggan and his wife, Beverly, of Merrimack, NH, and Lisa Brown and her late husband, Jim, of Canton. Grandmother of Michael Damon and his wife, Samantha, of Glen Allen, VA, Tracey Damon of Canton, Robert Brown of Norton, Timothy Brown of Canton, and Jennifer Duggan of Merrimack, NH. Great-grandmother of Tyler and Jacob.

Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Margaret can be made to Amego, Inc., a nonprofit agency that supports individuals with autism spectrum disorders throughout their lives.
