Philip D. Sullivan, 83, of Canton, died peacefully at home following a brief illness on May 6, 2021.

Philip was a retired Canton Fire Department lieutenant and a proud veteran of the Army National Guard. He was a devoted Catholic and parishioner of St. Gerard Majella Church in Canton. Philip enjoyed spending his time in Sanibel Island, FL, and was an avid walker, biker, and marathon runner. He also enjoyed the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.

Loving son of the late Philip and Virginia Sullivan. Devoted companion of over 45 years to Geraldine Medici of Canton. Loving brother of Virginia S. Mooney and her husband, John, of Canton. Proud uncle of Paul Mooney of Canton, Mark Mooney of Mattapoisett, James Mooney of Stoughton, and Joan Mooney-Pagel of Canton.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday in St. Gerard Majella Church in Canton. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Randolph. Arrangements by the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, www.roache-pushard.com.
