Charles was the beloved son of the late Charles J. Mellen Sr. and Virginia Mellen (Barretto). Loving brother of Peter M. Mellen of Quincy and Jean M. Alves of Plymouth. Beloved nephew of Ida Guinta of NH. He is also survived by a niece, Lori Schoenberg of PA, nephews James D. Aves Jr. of FL and Charles S. Alves of Marshfield, and by many loving cousins.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, December 10 (today) at 11 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 101 Wolcott Road in Milton. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend following COVID-19 protocols. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
