June A. Dailey (McGowan), 82, a lifelong resident of Canton, passed away October 16 at Milton Hospital.

Born in Norwood, she was raised in Canton and graduated from Canton High School. She worked for many years as an administrative assistant for Salah & Pecci. After retiring, June enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She was an active member of both St. John the Evangelist Church and St. Gerard Majella Church and was a member of the Canton Catholic Women’s Club and the St. Gerard’s Prayer Group.

Beloved wife for 60 years of the late Edward F., Jr. “Buddy.” Mother of Erin Regan and her husband, Matthew, of NC, Timothy Dailey and his wife, Eileen, of Canton, and Kerry Dailey of Bristol, RI. Grandmother of Rachel Regan and Shane and Margaret Dailey. Aunt of Michael Powers of Hyde Park, NY. Sister of the late Marylou Powers Stein.

A funeral mass was held Friday in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. Burial at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations may be made in her memory to St. John the Evangelist Church, 700 Washington St., Canton, MA 02021. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
