By Canton CitizenMary E. “Mae” (Mawn) Healy, age 88, of Stoughton, formerly of Canton, passed away on August 26, 2020.
Beloved wife of the late Paul W. Healy. Beloved daughter of the late James and Bessie Mawn, originally of Glenfarne County, Leitrim, Ireland. Loving mother of Sean J. and his wife, Christine, of Quincy and Nancy C. Price and her husband, Robert, of Stoughton. Cherished grandmother of Kayla Healy. Sister of Catherine L. and her late husband, Paul Murray, of Braintree, James Mawn and his wife, Judy, of Orleans, and the late Grace and her husband, John Vaughan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She grew up in Dorchester and fell in love with Paul, a lifelong resident of Canton, where they raised their family. Mary worked at the Walter Baker Company in Dorchester and then for many years at Factory Mutual in Norwood. She loved hanging out with her family, visits to Cape Cod, her labradoodle Logan and reading.
A funeral mass was held Tuesday in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
