He was born on August 25, 1954, and raised in Norwood. He graduated from Norwood High School, where he met his now ex-wife, Mary Riolo. Bobby worked as a highly skilled mechanic at Stop & Shop factory for over 18 years, as well as popular car dealerships such as Ford and Nissan. Bobby was very talented working with his hands as a mechanic, woodworker, fisherman, gardener, and motorcycle enthusiast.

He is survived by his children, Jennifer Boutilier and Derek Boutilier, both from Norwood and currently residing in Canton. Bobby also has three wonderful grandchildren: Haley Taylor, 16, and Matthew Taylor, 13, of Canton and Abrianna Boutilier, 8, of Walpole. He is also missed by his siblings Patricia Boutilier of Norwood and John Boutilier of Tewksbury. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loving friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Winston Boutilier and Patricia Boutilier, as well as his loving brother Richard Boutilier.

Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the cremation burial at Norwood Highland Cemetery will be private. Bobby will be laid to rest next to his loving brother Ricky. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to send donations in Bobby’s name to COVID-19 research and/or the American Diabetes Association. The family is saddened by this difficult time and thanks everyone for their thoughts and prayers.
