Bernardini, Lynne Marie

By

Lynne Marie (Gross) Bernardini, 61, of Stoughton, devoted wife and mother, loyal friend, adventurous cook, photographer and traveler, passed away on February 27, 2020.

Lynne, who grew up in Canton on Shawnlee Road with her brothers Joseph and Mark, met her husband, Michael, in Canton, too, at Beckham Travel. Together they traveled the world and filled their home with photographs Lynne took and meals she perfected from recipes she collected and tweaked.

Lynne graduated from Canton schools and Westfield State College, where she majored in physical education. She’d hoped to become a gym teacher, but the teaching profession had an excess of teachers in the mid 1970s. So she went on to photography school where she honed her skills.

She is survived by her husband, Michael; her daughter Kyley Bernardini of West Roxbury; her son Michael of Randolph; her brother Joseph Gross and his wife, Janet, of Kennebunk, Maine; her sister-in law Jill Gross of Canton; her nieces Tara Matthews of Raynham and Allie Gross of Kennebunk, Maine; her nephews Christopher Gross of Hopkinton, NH, Jason Gross of Danvers, Jonathan Gross of Kennebunk, and Nicholas Gross of Kennebunk, Maine; and many cousins and friends. Predeceased by her father, Anthony, her mother, Evalyn, and her brother Mark.

Lynne was a good friend and a caring daughter. She had a big, generous and forgiving heart. Funeral services were private.
