Peters, Edward

Edward Peters, 84, died peacefully in Florida at his home surrounded by his loving family on January 15, 2020.

Edward was survived by his wife, Lynn Ruth, of 64 years; three children, Deanna Harrington of Nokomis, FL, Shellee Peters of Braintree, and Gayle Soule and her husband, John Soule, and two grandchildren, Samantha Soule and Jonathan Soule, of North Easton.

Ed was a graduate of Canton High School, Class of 1953, and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) Local #4 for 64 years. Ed had many hobbies, which included woodworking and home projects, fishing, fly tying and boating.

He was a wonderful husband of 64 years, an outstanding father and grandfather, and loyal friend to all. Ed was a resident of Canton for 83 years. He will be sorely missed.

Services will be private, to be announced later.
