Congratulations to the Canton United sixth grade girls soccer team, who is headed to Lancaster this weekend to compete in the 2019 Massachusetts Tournament of Champions.

The United, coached by Tom Giglio, Andre Grant and Jay Cahill, earned their spot at the prestigious tournament after winning their division in the Boston Area Youth Soccer (BAYS) League playoffs. And they are already plenty battle-tested, coming off consecutive one-goal victories over Acton-Boxboro, the Milton Breakers, and the Wayland Fury.

The girls have been placed in Group C and will compete against fellow champions from the Pioneer Valley, Middlesex and South Coast leagues. For results and more information about the MTOC, visit mayouthsoccer.org.
