A Canton police officer was transported to Norwood Hospital for a precautionary evaluation but was not injured in a two-car motor vehicle crash on Wednesday, May 15, just before 5 p.m. Police Lt. A second major accident occurred the next morning at around 6:45 a.m. near the intersection of Pleasant and Angela streets. Lt. The driver of the first vehicle received a citation for a marked lanes violation. The truck sustained significant damage and needed to be towed from the scene, causing significant traffic and school bus delays on Thursday morning.
