Richard T. Lyman, 49, of Stoughton, formerly of Sharon, passed away April 28 unexpectedly at home.

Born in Norwood, he was raised in Sharon and graduated from Norfolk County Agricultural School and attended the Stockbridge School of Agriculture. He previously worked for John’s Landscaping and Tree Service in Needham for many years and most recently worked for Lueders Companies as an arborist. He was a member of the Holbrook Sportsmen’s Club and an avid hunter and fisherman. He also loved spending time with his granddaughter Alivia.

Beloved son of Richard F. Lyman and his wife, Linda, of Canton and Pauline M. Callahan and her husband, Kevin, formerly of Sharon, of Brooksville, FL. Brother of Lauren McLaughlin and her husband, Robert, of Sharon and Daniel Lyman and his wife, Claudine, of Colorado. Stepfather of Brittani, Melissa and Matthew Curtis. Devoted papa of Alivia McAuliffe. Beloved uncle of Katie, Kevin, and Conor McLaughlin and Faith and Christopher Lyman.
