Why I’m voting for Lisa Lopez for BOS

By

Dear Canton citizens:

I have a quote on my wall at work from Theodore Roosevelt. It says, “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” It’s both inspiring and frustrating because at certain times in our lives, we can only do so much. But Lisa Lopez is choosing, in retirement, to do what she can with the new free time she has right where she is, in Canton, by running for a position on the Board of Selectmen.

Lisa raised three children in Canton while juggling a very demanding career as an executive. She is now retired and looking to give back to the community by using her host of skills by serving as a selectman. Lisa is incredibly smart, intuitive and resourceful and is ready to spend the next two years advocating for projects like the town pool and the Paul Revere Heritage Site — initiatives that add to the vitality of this wonderful community.

I hope that Canton takes full advantage of the opportunity to have Lisa’s insight and intelligence on the Board of Selectmen for the next two years and comes out to vote for Lisa Lopez for selectman.

Sincerely,

Julie Beckham
