Celebration of Life

The Canton Alliance Against Substance Abuse (CAASA) held its second annual Celebration of Life event on Thursday evening, August 23, at the Canton Senior Center. Coinciding with International Overdose Awareness Day, the event honored those who have been lost to drug overdose while offering support to families that have been impacted by the disease of addiction. The program featured inspirational readings, music by the Canton Choral Society, a talk by Chris Sachs, director of Gilly’s House in Wrentham, and a candle-lighting ceremony. Refreshments were served inside the Senior Center following the event.
