Carol A. Kodis (Powers), beloved wife, mother and sister, 75, of Canton, passed away July 17 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Norwood, she was a lifelong resident of Canton.

kodisShe graduated from Canton High School and had a long career in the business sector, working with many companies in the area. She had a love of her family, her friends, and shopping. She was a bargain hunter of the first order and could always be counted on to have what you needed, whenever you needed it.

Carol was also well known for her custom-made dog beds, her ability to make people smile, and her ever-present cup of coffee. Her family and friends will miss her dearly.

An active member of both the Merrimack Lhasa Apso Club and the American Lhasa Apso Club, she will be remembered as a person with a quick mind, a generous spirit, and a ready response to any need.

Beloved wife of Paul M. Mother of Stephanie A. Kodis of Canton. Sister of Mary E. Powers of Canton and the late Nina, John Jr., William, Paul and Albert Powers.

A funeral service was held Saturday at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street. Burial private. Donations may be made in her memory to the American Lhasa Apso Club, Benitez-Wilkes Fund, c/o Marsha Susag, 5303 River Dr., Fargo, ND 38102.
