Project SAVE takes 2nd at FPS Internationals

Project SAVE (Substance Abuse Victim Empowerment), a Community Problem Solving Senior Division team from Canton High School, was awarded second place in the Health Concerns category at the recently concluded Future Problem Solvers International Conference held June 6-10 at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. The team held several community events throughout the 2017-18 school year as part of its mission to help victims of substance abuse while also raising awareness and educating the community about the causes of substance abuse. Congratulations to coach Vijay Addanki and team members Anvitha Addanki, Sylvia Chin, Ciara O’Connor, Sarah Hernandez, Jenny Mazzola, Sinead Qiu, Dusu Sidibay, Harshitha Valluri, and Sydney Weng.
