Molloy, Philip R.

Philip R. Molloy, 89, of Milton, formerly of Needham, passed away February 26.

Born in Malden, he was raised in Somerville and graduated from Somerville High School. He was the manager of Buckley & Scott Oil in Needham for many years before retiring. In his free time he enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Beloved husband of Edith E. (Nickerson). Father of Karen Gerry and her husband, Richard, of Hopkinton, NH, and Robyn Molloy and significant other Vernon Johnson of Rockland. Brother of Patrick Molloy of Oregon and the late Marjorie Slattery, Frances Winterson, Eileen Maguire, James, Joseph, and Thomas Molloy.

Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street, Sunday from 2-6 p.m. Funeral mass in St. Gerard Majella Church in Canton Monday at 10 a.m. Burial Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
