By Canton CitizenJean Claire Hamilton (Benson), 87, of Stoughton, formerly of Canton and Hyde Park, passed away on January 13, 2018, at Baypoint Skilled Nursing Home in Brockton.
Born in Stoneham, she moved to Hyde Park as a child where she attended Hyde Park High before moving to Canton in 1972. Jean worked in the administrative offices for Harvard University and Blue Hills Regional Technical School and was a paralegal for the Shagoury Law Firm in Hyde Park. She was also an active member in the First Congregational Church of Stoughton, the Stoughton Council on Aging, and for many years volunteered at local hospitals, the USO, and prison ministries …
