By Canton CitizenArthur Robert Martin, 86, of Canton, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2017, at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center surrounded by family.
He was born on April 12, 1931, at Norwood Hospital in Norwood. His older brother Frederick D. Martin of Cambridge, NY predeceased him in 1992. Born to the late Frederick and Mary (Ferland) Martin, Arthur grew up in Norwood and graduated from Norwood Senior High School Class of 1949 with his brother Fred.
He worked in the book bindery industry primarily as a folding machine operator for the Plimpton Press in Norwood, Halliday Lithograph in Plympton, and went on to work at Daniels Printing in Everett before retiring …
