John Charles (Jaycee) Bean, 68, an energetic, kind-hearted school bus driver and a resident of Randolph, died on July 26, 2017, at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston after a brief illness.

John was born in Pomona, CA, on October 14, 1948, to Edward and Mary Bean. He grew up in East Boston and Stoneham, where he graduated from Stoneham High School, Class of 1966. John served in the USAF during the Vietnam War. Upon his return he worked for New England Telephone and Telegraph and retired from Lucent Technology in 1994. John then found the one job that brought him the most joy — driving a school bus for Michael J. Connolly & Sons Bus Company. John’s route was in Canton and he loved this job. He was amazed by the laughter and the complete truth the children spoke. The children on his bus brought him endless joy and countless stories to tell.

On top of being a school bus driver, John also started his own Amazon business where he worked with many incredible people. While perusing his Amazon career he met his best friend Michelle Thetonia and her husband, Richie. John has helped many individuals start their own Amazon businesses. John was a man who lived his life to help others …
