Jeremy Comeau will be a strong voice for Canton

By

Dear Editor:

I am writing in support of Jeremy Comeau, who is running for selectman.

Having recently met Mr. Comeau, I can attest that he is a bright and impassioned leader who advocates for tolerance, a value of particular importance at the local level given the uncertain political climate we currently face in this country. Mr. Comeau has made clear that he will be an active voice on matters of importance to Canton residents. His actions, such as counseling Canton High School students on issues of civic engagement, and his beliefs, such as opposition to the environmentally detrimental Spectra pipeline, support that notion.

At certain times, the complacency of town officials must be challenged for the good of the community, to ensure that issues of importance to residents are being addressed. As the old saying goes, “All politics is local,” and we now need voices in Town Hall that demonstrate a respect for others and for the environment.

Jeremy Comeau will be a strong voice for Canton. I hope people get out and vote for him on April 4.

Thank you,

Lucien Brodeur
