911-ceremony

The town of Canton honored the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in a remembrance ceremony held at Canton Fire Department headquarters. Sunday marked the 15th anniversary of 9/11.

The ceremony honored the bravery of New York’s first responders while also paying tribute to the thousands of victims who perished in the terrorist attacks in 2001. Attendees and speakers at the event included Congressman Stephen Lynch, state Rep. Bill Galvin, Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey, and members of the Canton Board of Selectmen and Canton Fire and Police departments. Students from St. John the Evangelist School were also in attendance.
