Souza Jr., Daniel E.
By Canton CitizenDaniel E. Souza, Jr., 38, of Canton, passed away suddenly August 4.
Born in Boston, he was a lifelong resident of Canton and graduated from Canton High School, Class of 1996, and the University of Phoenix and worked as an electrician for Local 103 in Boston.
He is survived by the love of his life, Rebecca A. Wiederhold of Canton. Devoted father of Kalynn and William Souza of Canton. Son of Daniel E. Souza, Sr. of Weare, NH, and the late Janice L. (Sutherland). Brother of Danelle Moriarty of Canton. Nephew of Dorothy Sutherland of Canton. Uncle of Darin, Casey, Collin and Riley Moriarty. He is survived by his loving extended family Audrey Gibson, Amy Wiederhold, and Emily and Kevin Gibson.
A funeral service will be held Thursday (today) at 11 a.m. in the Congregational Church of Canton, 1541 Washington Street. Burial Canton Corner Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Souza Children’s Trust Fund, c/o Bank of Canton, 557 Washington St., Canton, MA 02021, or to Learn to Cope, 4 Court St. #110, Taunton, MA 02780.
