Colmer, Kenneth O.

Kenneth O. Colmer, 88, of Canton, passed away May 29 at the Hellenic Nursing Home in Canton.

Born and raised in Lynn, he graduated from Lynn English High School, Salem State University, and received his master’s in education from Bridgewater State College. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Ken was a middle school English teacher for the Canton and Braintree Public Schools for many years before retiring. He has lived in Canton since 1965 and was an active member and lector at St. Gerard Majella Church in Canton. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Red Sox and Patriots …
