Plotner, Franklin A.

Franklin A. Plotner, Sr., formerly of Canton, of Humarock, passed away May 23 at South Shore Hospital.

Born in Boston, he was raised in Milton and graduated from Milton High School and Curry College and was a veteran of the United States Army. Frank had a long career in the restaurant business where over the years he owned and operated Jimmy’s Diner and the Avenue Tavern in Mattapan, Dinero’s in Cohasset, Hingham Bay Club, the Ocean Club in Hull, Pisano’s in Kingston, and the Inn on the Green in West Bridgewater …
