Next Wednesday, March 16, the Canton Public Schools will host its third STEAM Expo from 4-8 p.m. at Canton High School. With an emphasis on critical thinking and problem solving, STEAM is an educational framework that integrates the subjects of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. The theme of this year’s expo is “Sustainability” — a system’s ability to survive on its own by supporting itself. There will be interactive booths geared toward students in grades pre-K to 12 as well as booths run by local businesses in the STEAM fields. Admission is free and dinner will be available for purchase in the CHS cafeteria.
