Mr. MacLean worked for the Ledger for 30 years from 1967 to 1997. He started at the newspaper as assistant West Edition editor at the Norwood office and later was West Edition editor, assistant city editor in Quincy. He previously was suburban editor at the Meriden (CT) Journal and earlier was a reporter for the Bethlehem (PA) Globe-Times and the Medford Mercury …
