Keefe, Francis

Francis “Frank” Keefe, 85, died on November 18, 2014, in Burlington.

Mr. Keefe was born on June 12, 1929, in Hyde Park to parents Patrick and Mary Keefe. He was one of six children. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving his country from 1947 to 1949. He graduated from Boston College with a degree in mathematics in 1953 and a Master of Business Administration in 1965. He was married to the late Elizabeth A. (McEachron) Keefe for 51 years and resided in the town of Canton from 1963 to 2013.

In 1966, Frank was employed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he worked on various contracts for the Apollo space program. In 1972, he joined the Massachusetts Criminal History Systems Board in Boston as a systems analyst. Later in his career, he was employed by Unisys Corporation in Cambridge, in contract with the Federal Aviation Administration …
