New roundabout leads to near-death experience

This past Saturday, I had my first experience with the new roundabout at Bolivar and Pleasant streets. While in the circle I was almost crushed by a pickup truck whose driver was evidently unaware of the yield rules of rotaries. I have driven safely through that intersection for 35 years. It is ironic that after surviving a year of surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation from cancer, I almost lost my life due to a public works fiasco.
