CPD safety seat installation delayed

The Canton Police Department has delayed its child safety seat installation services for a while until an officer can be recertified in September. According to Police Lt. Patty Sherrill, the state only offers a handful of renewal classes per year. In the meantime, the Police Department has made arrangements with both the Stoughton and Norwood departments to handle any requests from Canton residents.
