Hanscom, Edward B.

Edward B. Hanscom, 86, of Canton, passed away May 1 at the Charlwell House in Norwood.

Born and raised in Westbrook, Maine, he was a Navy veteran of World War II. He worked as a meat packer for Colonial Provisions for 40 years and retired in 1987.

Beloved husband of the late Geraldine I. (Sousa). Father of Marian G. Baudanza of Norwood. Uncle of Ronald Dorman, Steven, Warren and Brian Hanscom, and Carol Smith.

A funeral mass was held Monday, May 5, in the Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
