Residents encouraged to ‘Give Back to the Blue Hills’

By

Dear Canton:

As a lifelong resident of southeastern Mass., I have spent countless hours taking advantage of all that the Blue Hills Reservation has to offer. From the first field trips to the Trailside Museum in elementary school through today, I have many fond memories with family and friends at Blue Hills and look forward to many more. That’s why I’m donating to the Give Back to the Blue Hills campaign — and why I hope you do too.

Throughout my own childhood and now as a parent, I continue to enjoy many activities at Blue Hills. As a child, I remember the amazing view of Boston Harbor from the top of Eliot Tower. As an adult, I’ve lifted my children many times to enjoy that same beautiful view. My family and I continue to hike Blue Hills and still look forward to the view from the top.

Young or old, any season of the year, for an hour or a day, Blue Hills has something to offer for everyone. I hope you’ll consider giving back. We’re getting closer to our goal of raising $7,000 by December 31. To help in this effort, go to friendsofthebluehills.org/support.

Sincerely,
Liz Ryan
FBH member and Canton resident
