A Plea from Canton Little League

Dear Editor:

Canton Little League installed “Boston Strong” banners at all of our fields prior to the start of the season to show Canton’s support for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings. During the opening day parade we led our parade with one of these banners. We raised over $1,000 that was donated towards the victims of the tragedy.

Last week, we sadly realized that someone had stolen these banners from Duggan, Ruane, Sullivan and Crawford fields.

We are asking that these banners be returned to Canton Little League so that we may place them back on our fields next spring — and for years to come.

The banners can be returned to 12 Bailey Court. No questions will be asked. We just want them back.
