Canton trio wins WiffleRock Tournament

A team of wiffleball enthusiasts from Canton won the title of “Undisputed World Wiffleball Champions” at the annual WiffleRock Tournament, held June 22-23 at the West School Athletic Complex in Stoughton. The three-member team, known as the Title Waves and consisting of CHS graduates (above l-r) Mike Lamir, David Corcoran and Jack Lamir, knocked off perennial favorite Brew Crew in the finals with a crushing 10-2 victory. It was their first victory in a tournament of this magnitude, which attracts over 50 teams from all over New England. Like most wiffleball players, they grew up playing in their backyard as kids and rode their talent to victory!
