Lucienne M. Dorian of Canton, 85, formerly of Somerville and Boston, died June 8, 2013.

Born in Marseille, France, she came to the U.S. as a teenager. She was a resident of Canton for over 56 years and worked as a teacher for the Cotting School in Lexington for over 25 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed sewing, cooking, craftmaking, and “Children’s Day” at the United Church of Christ in Canton.

Daughter of the late Jean and Marguerite Mississian. Devoted wife of the late Joseph M. Dorian. Loving mother of Gail Geromini and her husband, Timothy, of Franklin, and Linda Dorian of Stoughton. Loving grandmother of Kara and Timothy Geromini, Christopher Sutherby, and Lauren Dorian.

Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, Thursday (today) from 6-9 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A funeral service will be celebrated in the United Church of Christ, 1541 Washington Street, Canton, on Friday, June 14, at 10 a.m. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park. If desired, donations may be made in Lucienne’s memory to the MSPCA, 350 S. Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
