John P. Missler, 80, of Canton, passed away March 24 at Norwood Hospital.

MisslerBorn in Dedham, he was raised in Canton, attended Canton schools, and was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He worked on the grounds crew at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton for 39 years and retired in 2000. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and enjoyed bowling and was a former member of the Westgate Lanes Bowling League.

Beloved husband of Patricia (Harrington). Father of Debbie Kelly and her husband, Thomas, of Canton. Grandfather of Jonathan Perrotton and his girlfriend, Maggie McCarey, of Jamaica Plain and Joshua Perrotton and his girlfriend, Julie McCarey, of Allston. Brother of Betty Dugan of Pembroke. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral service at the funeral home Thursday, March 28, at 10 a.m. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations may be made in his memory to the Canton Veterans Service Department, 801 Washington St., Canton, MA 02021. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
