CHS boosters to hold sports equipment sale

The Canton High School Booster Club will hold a used sports equipment sale on Saturday, April 6, in the CHS cafeteria from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The boosters will be selling gently used sports equipment of all kinds to raise funds for CHS athletic programs. After 1 p.m., all items will be sold at half price.

Please consider donating your gently used sporting goods (less than five years old), including skates, cleats, clothing, bikes, balls, sticks, scooters, racquets, pads, golf clubs, helmets, mats, boogie boards, snowboards, etc. (No electronic equipment or skis, please).

Donations will be accepted on Friday, April 5, from 4-7 p.m. in the CHS cafeteria. Other drop-off arrangements can be made by contacting Ann Hession at ajhesh@aol.com.

Take this opportunity to clean out your garage, basement, or shed! You will be helping to support the student-athletes at Canton High, and you just might find yourself a bargain!

The CHS Booster Club supports all athletic programs in various ways, including, but not limited to: providing $15,000 annually to lease a bus to offset transportation costs; supporting end-of-season banquets; providing banners and other championship recognition pieces; assisting with equipment purchases; funding scrimmages; supporting the Scott Herr Fitness Center; and large projects like the Memorial Field press box project.
