Hanningtons to play in Sandy Hook softball tourney

The defending Canton Men’s Softball League champion Hannington softball team, sponsored by Attorney Glen Hannington, has accepted an invitation to participate in the Sandy Hook Memorial Softball Tournament in Wallingford, Connecticut over the weekend of April 13 and 14. Sixteen teams are competing in the tournament, with all proceeds going to the Sandy Hook School Support Fund, run by the United Way out of Newtown Savings Bank. Twenty children and six adults lost their lives in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting on December 14.
