Louise A. Jones (Concannon) of Plainville, formerly of Aton, New Hampshire, and Canton passed away December 11 at home.

Born and raised in Milton and Hyannis, she attended Barnstable schools, graduated from Emmanuel College and attended a master’s in education program at Boston College. She was an active member of all the youth sports programs in the town of Canton and was a schoolteacher at the Kennedy, Luce, Hansen and Gridley elementary schools in Canton for many years before retiring in 1995. After retirement she moved to Alton, NH, where she was an active member of the St. Joan of Arc Parish and a volunteer at the public library.

Beloved wife of the late George M. Mother of George M. Jr. of Plainville, Ed J. and his wife, Anne, of Plainville, Richard J. of Foxboro, William T. of Waltham, Steven M. and his wife, Stacey, of NH, and Robert O. and his wife, Heather, of NH. Sister of Marie Richard of Hull and Richard Concannon of NC. Also survived by 10 grandchildren.

Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street, Thursday, December 13, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton Friday at 10:30 a.m. Interment Canton Corner Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Community Visiting Nurses Association & Hospice, 10 Emory St., Attleboro, MA 02703.
