Brown, Virginia

By

Virginia “Ginny” Noll Brown, 68, formerly of Canton and Westborough, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 25, 2012, at her home at the Kindred Care Facility in Marlborough.

Ginny was born on September 27, 1944, to Gustav and Phyllis Noll. She attended Canton elementary and high schools, obtained her BA degree in language education from Upsala College in East Orange, NJ, and later taught German, French and Spanish in New Jersey and Canton. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Canton.

She is survived by her brother, Frederick Noll, and his wife, Lynne, of Lewes, DE, niece Faith Braut and her husband, Scott, of Suffern, NY, and nephew Andrew Noll and his wife, Jennifer, of Browns Mills, NJ. Ginny took much joy in keeping up with antics and photos of her three grandnephews, Aiden and Rowan Braut and Gus Noll.

Ginny was a “one of a kind” person with the ability to make you laugh and remember your name even after only one meeting. She also took special pleasure in her dog Heidi.

Her family would like to thank Ginny’s good friend Evelyn Jarjour of NC, who gave her much support; her caregivers and friends at the Kindred Care Facility for the kind and loving care shown during her residency; and a very special thanks to Gloria Gilson of Canton for her never-ending kindness, comfort, and friendship.

A viewing and service will be held Friday, November 2, from 9-11 a.m. in the Roache-Pushard Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, followed by interment at the Canton Corner Cemetery.
