“Bank of Canton is proud to support such a tremendous organization,” said Stephen Costello, bank president. “The positive impact Canton Little League provides to our local youth is vital in teaching them the importance of teamwork. With the purchase of a new scoreboard, we hope to see many more great seasons through this successful program.”

“The old scoreboard had been broken for more than a year, and we were in dire need of a new one for our kids,” said Lou Tarmy, president of Canton Little League. “We are all very grateful to Bank of Canton for making it possible. They’ve provided funding for all of our scoreboards over the years, so we want to thank them for their long-term partnership with us.”

Approximately 750 youth ages 5-14, both boys and girls, participated in Canton Little League’s baseball or fast-pitch softball in the spring season of 2012.

Founded in 1835, Bank of Canton supports a wide range of nonprofit organizations throughout the Canton area.
