Fazakerley, Herbert M.

Herbert M. Fazakerley, 84, passed away June 3 at home.

Born and raised in Boston, he attended Boston schools. He served in the Merchant Marines during WWII and was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He worked as an electrician for Local 103 in Boston for many years before retiring. Mr. Fazakerley was a volunteer for HESSCO Elder Services and Meals on Wheels and has lived in Canton for the last 52 years.

Beloved husband of the late Louise A. (Cox). Father of Ann M. Archer of Woburn, Louise Fazakerley of Pelham, NH, and Susan F. Kelley of Pembroke. Also survived by five grandsons.

A funeral mass was held Wednesday morning, June 6, in St. Gerard Majella Church in Canton. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations may be made in his memory to HESSCO Elder Services, 1 Merchant St. #106, Sharon, MA 02067. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
