Pushard family grateful for support

By

In memory of Anne L. Pushard, February 8, 1946 – February 26, 2012

My family and I would like to thank everyone for their kind words, flowers, Mass offerings, memorial donations, and support during my mother’s funeral and throughout the following weeks. I would also like to thank those who offered my mother assistance during the time of her illness. Although she was reluctant to accept your offers, I was always grateful for your consideration.

My mother’s illness was a long journey for our family and was marked by both victories and defeats. This time was especially difficult for a woman who was so strong willed and independent to become unable to enjoy the things she used to. Her straightforward, headstrong, and unique personality will be missed by those who knew and loved her. I know she is now at peace with my father, whom she loved deeply and missed so very much these past years.

As a family, we have provided funeral services to the families of Canton for decades. We do this by trying to ease the burden of loss in any way we can. We realize that sometimes an honest and simple gesture during such a difficult time can be deeply appreciated. The Pushard family will continue to provide service to the families of Canton with the same spirit of my parents, with honesty, compassion, and dignity.

We will never forget your kindness during our time of loss.

Sincerely,

Lawrence M. Pushard
