Charles J. Campisano, 93, of Canton, passed away on March 29, 2012.

Beloved husband of the late Ella “Helen” Fraccalvieri. Loving father of Kathleen Pals and her husband, Thomas, of Mansfield; Jack Campisano and his wife, Darlene, of Brockton; and Charlene Vaccaro and her husband, Sal, of Canton. Dear brother of Michael Campisano of East Walpole, Theodore Campisano and Frank Campisano, both of Norwood, and Yolanda Anderson of TX. He is also survived by his seven cherished grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Charles served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1942-1945. “Charlie” worked at Bird & Son in Walpole for many years, and after retiring he worked for the town of Canton. He was a past member of the Canton Town Club and American Legion Post #24 in Canton, where he never missed attending the annual veterans’ breakfast. He loved cooking and tending to his vegetable garden.

Funeral services were held April 3 at the Roache-Pushard Family Home for Funerals, 210 Sherman Street. Expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Canton Veterans Services Department, 92 Pleasant St., Canton, MA 02021.
