3rd annual Canton Writes winners announced

By

Congratulations to the winners of this year’s Canton Writes short story and poetry contest, sponsored by the Canton Cultural Council, the Friends of the Canton Public Library, and the Canton Citizen.

Entries were judged anonymously by Canton authors Rebecca Hayes, Gregory Mone, Beverly Beckham, Bernard Mendillo, Betsy Sternman, Mary Ann Trupe, Joan Halperin, Deb Sundin, and Rosie Moore. The Canton Writes Committee, consisting of Dottie Shea, Joyce Wiseman, Peg Mead, Mike Sundin, and Chair Kathy Fox Alfano, thank all the writers who submitted their work and the sponsors for their invaluable support, and they encourage all to keep writing.

There will be an awards presentation and readings on Tuesday, April 10, at 7 p.m. in the Canton Public Library Community Room. All are welcome.
