St. John’s joins cancer fight

By

St. John the Evangelist School has joined in the fight against cancer with several fundraising efforts in the month of October. On October 2, faculty, former and current students, and families from St. John’s came out in force at the New England Pancreatic Cancer Research Walk on George’s Island. They walked to support a member of the St. John School community who is battling the disease. Also in October, the sixth grade students organized several fundraising activities in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and donated $1,275.50 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
