Julia Ann Walsh (Sullivan), 90, of Westwood, passed away October 2 at home. Born and raised in Mission Hill, she graduated from Mission High School. She lived in Jamaica Plain for many years before moving to Westwood in 1983.

She worked in the admitting office of New England Baptist Hospital for many years before retiring as the director of admissions. In her later years, Julia enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and at the Julia Ruth House in Westwood, crossword puzzles and reading.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas E. Sr. Mother of Thomas E. Jr. and his wife, Susan, of Westwood. Grandmother of Julia and Edward Walsh. Sister of Helen Manning of West Roxbury and the late Dennis, Eugene, John, Patrick, Daniel, Richard and Francis Sullivan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends invited to attend a Memorial Mass at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 97 South St. in Jamaica Plain on Thursday morning, October 6, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours omitted; burial private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one’s choice.
