Lynch praises town’s 9/11 ceremony

By

Dear Chairman Connolly and members of the board:

Congressman Stephen F. Lynch

Thank you very much for allowing me to participate in the 10th anniversary commemoration of the 9/11 attacks and the dedication of the memorial to Canton native Michael Uliano and other 9/11 victims held in Canton on Sunday.

The ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park was a perfect expression of solemn remembrance and appreciation for the events of the day, as well as a moving tribute to Michael. Congratulations to you, Fire Chief Doody, Police Chief Berkowitz, Veterans’ Agent Tony Andreotti, Building Commissioner Ed Walsh, Superintendent of Public Works Michael Trotta and architect Greg Pando for your efforts in seeing the memorial come to fruition and organizing the ceremony.

The care and respect that was shown by the organizers, color guards, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Veterans groups and residents of Canton is a continuing reminder of why I remain thankful and proud that I have the honor to represent the town of Canton in the United States Congress.

Well done.

Sincerely,

Congressman Stephen F. Lynch
